I live very close to the Gulf of Mexico. I love the Gulf and have vacationed there many times in the last 20 years, it was a beautiful place -- no more! I think what must be done is to cultivate change to allow other energy sources. If you could decapitalize BP you might possibly undermine the energy industry as a whole resulting in economic disaster. (Plus BP owns Obama). Too risky IMO. We already have a credit disaster, let us not add another. We have to strengthen and capitalize the alternative energy industries. Read up on T. Boone Pickens.
